Bhushan Steel on Wednesday posted a standalone net loss of Rs 360.77 crore for the fiscal fourth quarter that ended on March 31, 2015.
The city-based firm had registered a net loss of Rs 19.57 crore for the corresponding period a year ago, it said in a filing to the BSE.
Standalone net sales of the firm fell 4 per cent to Rs 2,419.91 crore in January-March quarter of last fiscal year from Rs 2,510.32 crore in the same quarter of 2013-14.
For the entire fiscal year 2014-15, Bhushan Steel's standalone net loss stood at Rs 1,253.83 crore as against a net profit of Rs 61.96 crore in 2013-14.
Standalone net sales, however, rose 10 per cent to Rs 10,645.77 crore from Rs 9,675.83 crore.
Shares in Bhushan Steel, on Wednesday, ended 0.94 per cent lower at Rs 57.95 apiece on the BSE.
