Chinese steel mills continued to lift their bidding prices for domestic iron ore concentrates over May 11-15, with prices in some regions rising by Yuan 10-20/tonne ($1.4-2.8/t), as increasing demand for concentrates from mills in some areas led supplies to fall short of matching the steelmakers’ requirements, according to Mysteel’s latest weekly survey.
