India Steel Market Watch
December 3: Domestic car sales increased 12.11 percent to 250,839 units in November 2015, from 223,735 units in November 2014. Apart from Tata Motors, Honda and Toyota all the automobile manufacturers have experienced growth in sales. In October 2015, automobile makers had reported an increase of 22.9 percent.
Maruti Suzuki India (MKI) The largest car market in India, which dominates almost 50 percent share of the total domestic car market, saw sales growth of 10.57 percent to 110,599 units in November 2015 from 100,024 units in November 2014.
Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), the second-largest car producer in India, reported 22.92% jump in sales to 43,651 units in November 2015 from 35,511 units in November 2014. November turned out to be a good month for Mahindra & Mahindra, the largest SUV maker in India, because it registered maximum gain among the large auto players.
