Miners kept iron ore prices unchanged as inventory levels remained high.
Earlier, Rungta Mines and Indrani mines lowered their prices as production remained high.
Iron ore pellet prices also remained same after prices moved up Rs 300 per ton in Tatanagar.
NMDC also rolled over its prices for the month of August.

Desi iron ore prices stagnate in Aug on high inventory

August 25: Domestic iron ore prices remained stagnant in August owing to high inventory levels in both Odisha and Chhattisgarh, an industry source said.
Iron ore availability has gone up from the mines of NMDC and mines of Odisha, the source said.
In the April-July period of the current fiscal, iron ore production in Odisha stood at 28 million tons, while despatches stood at 26 million tons, he said.
