Producers of metals and other raw materials rose after the U.S. lifted tariffs on imported European steel.
Shares of European steelmakers such as Austria's Voestalpine rose. Germany's Salzgitter and global steelmaker ArcelorMittal were less affected, analysts said, because they already maintain a substantial presence in the U.S.
